Training

The CRL Molecular Imaging Center (MIC) is a shared light microscopy resource specializing in state-of-the-art laser-based fluorescence techniques and offers their expertise in several microscopy techniques including live cell and 

 imaging, laser scanning confocal (LSM) and spinning disk confocal (SDC), multi-photon and deep-tissue imaging (2p/3p), fluorescent lifetime imaging (FLIM), fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) and fluorescence cross correlation spectroscopy (FCCS), light-sheet microscopy (SPIM), super resolution (Airyscan), slide scanning, and patterned illumination for optogenetic manipulation and readout. The MIC houses high-end GPU workstations and software for image processing, visualization and analysis.

All external clients are required to comply with UC Berkeley and Cancer Research Lab visitor codes of conduct and lab rules while on campus.

We accept cleaned, fixed, and sealed 1"x3" or 2"x3" glass slides with standard glass cover slips from clients across the United States (drop off/pickup locations or shipping addresses will be provided upon order confirmation). Please note that we cannot not accept any live or hazardous specimens.

All slide orders must be delivered with a clean USB drive for data transfer.

If requesting return service, you must provide a prepaid shipping label.
