This option, RTDS Week Pass, provides a discounted rate for RTDS simulator use. Remote access will be provided to a computer with RSCAD, the software to model and run RTDS simulations. The RTDS simulator will be available on a first-come first-served basis. If you need to reserve a specific time period, then please see our RTDS Reserved Time option. We also offer a Modeling ONLY option that is ideal for those needing more time with just RSCAD.
The DERConnect testbed is equipped with a real-time simulator that is capable of simulating large distribution and transmission networks or high-fidelity models of DER systems. The ability for the simulations to run in real-time enables real power systems to also interact with the simulations through our amplifier.
